March 2012

How did March get away from me? I guess I have been knee deep into sewing and finishing touches on a special sewing project. Some country themes and some Blue Willow themes. A spring kitchen seems to be on my mind. can’t wait to open windows and let the fresh air in. The ice and snow are melting dispite the cold wind that was blowing. Here it is almost St Patrick’s Day. Here’s to ya! A couple of verses I have always liked.

May the Irish hills caress you.
May her lakes and rivers bless you.
May the luck of the Irish enfold you.
May the blessings of Saint Patrick behold you.
~Irish Blessing

And my favorite

An Old Irish Blessing

May the road rise up to meet you.

May the winds always be at your back

May the sun shine warm upon your face

and rains fall soft upon your fields

And until we meet again

May God hold you in the palm of His hand.
